Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado, sought to create a permeable, vegetated emergency access route along the south and east sides of its Science and Innovation Center and turned to Grasspave2 to make it happen.
By incorporating Grasspave2, the design team was able to meet emergency vehicle access requirements without constructing a conventional 20-foot-wide concrete access road. The system also provides an ADA-compliant, accessible surface, ensuring safe pedestrian access while maintaining a natural, green appearance. The result is an attractive, functional landscape that enhances the campus environment, supports stormwater infiltration, and provides reliable emergency vehicle access.
